Over the June holidays, our teachers arranged a trip consisting of the Boy Brigade and the Girl Brigade. Before the trip, everyone was extremely excited and everyone was discussing about it enthusiastically. The preparation took up a lot of time to ensure that we brought what we needed and not long later, it is time for the flight to Cambodia! The duration that was written on our booklet was one hour but in actual time, it is two hours because the time that was actually slower than Singapore by one hour. There, we finally reached our destination. It was the first time I went oversea with my friends in Riverside Secondary School so I decided to use this opportunity to know more and bond with my seniors and peers. After unloading what we had into our hotel room, we headed off to the killing field. It was a disgusting and cruel sight. Bones and pieces of shirts were everywhere on the ground. Expectantly, the tour guide actually took one of the many bones and showed us. I nearly fainted. After he explanations about how this people died, I knew the cruelty of humans. They had many rounds of torturing the people who died here before killing them in inhumanly ways. In order to respect those who died here, we prayed. Here,this is the first tour side we visited.
Luckily, there is a human rights that protect us from all of this horrible treatments and nevertheless, there is also one of the animals because like human, they also have feelings. I hope that everyone would be kind to others and treat them with respect because you wouldn't want to be treated the way you doesn't want as well.

Youth Day!
Date: 04/07/11
I had a wonderful time with my seniors today for Youth Day!!! We went out together to do our own homework at the library.We arrived at the library a little early and there were a lot of people waiting outside the gate,anxiously waiting for the gate to open.When the time finally arrive,everyone dashed in and a group of primary school kids in front of us dashed in and bang into a poster,causing it to fall.It is like a battle zone as we ran up to find a well-located table to do our homework.After that, we went for our lunch.Well,basically it is not "we" who were the ones who ate lunch because only one person who ate because they rest of us were too hyper to eat anything. It had been such a long time that we had hangout together.After lunch, gaming were on our mind.We went to TimeZone and play for a couple of hours. It was then that they need to go for "CD through the arts". As the venue is near to my house, I followed them to find that the teacher was so late.It made everyone there angry, including me because it was like half an hour after the time which was supposed to start that she arrive.
Despite for the bad start, we had a fun time although I left halfway as I needed to head home. Quote for the day: Persevere to the end.No matter how hard and how many the obstacles there are, follow your heart and persevere to the end. You won't regret for what you did because you tried your best to make the ending as perfect as it can be.

About me :)

I am 13 years old and is currently studying at Riverside Seconday School. I am a cheerful and playful person but I can be a very lazy person when it come to studies.Desipte that, I definitely complete my task given by my teachers on time no matter how lazy I might be.Some of my favourite hobby is playing computer games,playing sports like badminton, basketball and cycling. My current CCA is the Boy's Brigade.It is a good CCA to be in and because of all the awesome seniors I had,they always make my day on every single day when I spent with them. We often hang out together after school and meet up to play basketball or do homework together. As regarding to my studies, I doesn't have a favourite subject but I enjoy my history lesson with Mr Tomas Chen because he is funny and always crack jokes that are related to 'cap boy' which is Kevin. Lastly,my quote of the day : Don't ever think lowly of yourself, because you're amazing just the way you are and most importantly, stay happy!
